Norway sensation Erling Haaland had some high praise for an 18-year-old wonderkid after a record-breaking display in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
Borussia Dortmund defeated Besiktas 2-1 in their opening 2021/22 UCL fixture, with teenager Jude Bellingham starring in the win.
The midfielder gave his side the lead on 20 minutes before providing the assist for Haaland to score on the stroke of half-time.

In fact, two records were broken by Bellingham during the tie, with his goal making him the youngest player ever (18 years and 78 days) to score in successive UCL games, while he simultaneously achieved the feat of becoming the youngest Englishman to score an away Champions League goal.

In a post-match interview, Haaland, himself one of the most sought-after young talents in football, spoke in glowing terms of his teammate's performance and ability.
"He was amazing," the Norwegian striker said, per the Metro.
"He's 18 – three years younger than me – it's crazy! What can I say? He's amazing.
"He is 18 years old and plays so incredibly well. He is fantastic."
Bellingham signed for the Bundesliga giants from Birmingham City in July 2020 when he was just 17 years old, and almost immediately earned himself a first-team role, making 46 appearances in the 2020/21 campaign.
