Borussia Monchengladbach 1-0 Borussia Dortmund
Ten-man Borussia Dortmund lost for the second time after a narrow 1-0 loss to Borussia Monchengladbach in the Borussen Derby at Borussia-Park.
Denis Zakaria broke the deadlock for Gladbach eight minutes before the half-time break and Dortmund were reduced to ten men three minutes later after Mahmoud Dahoud picked up his second booking and was sent off.
Gladbach held on to for their second win of the seaosn.
RB Leipzig 6-0 Hertha Berlin
RB Leipzig bagged only their second victory after hammering Hertha Berlin 6-0, with Christopher Nkunku netting twice at Red Bull Arena.
Nkunku, Yussuf Poulsen and Nordi Mukiele gave the Red Bulls a comfortable 3-0 lead at half-time before second-half goals by Emil Forsberg, another goal from Nkunku and a late goal by Amadou Haidara completed the rout.
Hoffenheim 3-1 Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg lost for the first time after a heavy 3-1 defeat to Hoffenheim at PreZero Arena.
Ridle Baku broke the deadlock for the Wolves in the 25th minute but only for Andrej Kramaric to find the equaliser for the hosts on the stroke of half-time.
Christoph Baumgartner gave Hoffenheim the lead 17 minutes before time and Pavel Kaderabek sealed the deal nine minutes before time.
Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 Mainz
Bayer Leverkusen went up to second on the log after a narrow 1-0 win over Mainz at BayArena.
Following a goalless first stanza, Florian Wirtz eventually broke the deadlock for Bayer in the 62nd minute and Amine Adli thought he had made it 2-0 for the hosts three minutes later but his goal was disallowed for offside by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
Eintracht Frankfurt 1-1 FC Koln
Eintracht Frankurt's search for their first win continued after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Koln on at Deutche Bank Arena.
Ellyes Skhiri opened the scoring for Koln in the 14th minute and Rafael Santos Borre levelled matters for Eintracht on the stroke of half-time.
Florian Kainz thought he had netted the winner for Koln ten minutes after the half-time break but his goal was chalked off for offside by the VAR.
Union Berlin 1-0 Arminia Bielefeld
Arminia Bielefeld remained winless after a last-gasp 1-0 loss to Union Berlin at Stadion An der Alten.
After a goalless first stanza, Arminia failed to hold on to at least a point after Kevin Behrens snatched the winner for Union two minutes before time.
