'Mane doesn't look happy at Bayern Munich'

A former Germany star claims that Senegal international Sadio Mane does not look happy at Bayern Munich at the moment.

Mane ended his six-year stay at Anfield in the recent transfer window after joining the Bundesliga outfit in a deal reportedly worth £35million.

The Senegalese started his Bayern career with three goals in his opening three Budnesliga games, but has failed to do so in his last four.

After the Bavarians' win over Barcelona during the week, former Germany and Liverpool star Dietmar Hamann claims Mane is not playing in his right position.

"He is not integrated," he told GMX via Sport Witness.

"I saw him at Liverpool FC, where he played through the middle. That is not his position. Now he's taking that position at FC Bayern as well. He is at his best when he comes from the outside. He doesn't look happy to me.

"Other players like Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala or, in defence, Lucas Hernandez, who is injured at the moment, are putting in outstanding performances.

"Nobody is talking about Mane at the moment. He seems isolated and hardly takes part in the game. FC Bayern has to get a grip on that."

Bayern's defeat to Augsburg on Saturday extended their winless run to four matches in the Bundesliga, leaving the side in fourth position.
