'Happy' Sancho breaks silence on Man Utd exit

Jadon Sancho has broken his silence on his move to Borussia Dortmund after bagging an assist in his first game back on Saturday.

Sancho completed a loan move to the Bundesliga outfit this week after falling out with United manager Erik ten Hag.

The English winger came off the bench and provided the assist for Marco Reus' goal as Dortmund secured a 2-0 win over Darmstadt.

"Since I've been back here, it's felt like I'm home," Sancho told club's official website.

"I'm just happy to be on the pitch. Marco is a good friend of mine and I'm just happy that I could set up a goal for him.

"My objective is to be happy again and to help the team get back into the top three.

"We're taking it game by game and I'm sure sure that we'll do well if we keep fighting in every match."

Sancho also felt he was destined to grab an assist on his return to Dortmund, who currently sit fifth on the Bundesliga table.

"I feel like it was meant to be, me coming back and seeing Marco again," he old Sky Germany.

"He's a great friend of mine... I'm happy to set up his goal today."
