Lewandowski announced last month that his time at the Allianz Arena has come to an end, even though he still has on year left on his current deal.
The Bundesliga side, meanwhile, are reluctant to lose their star striker but are certainly aware they are likely to lose him for free when his contract expires next year.
Sky Sports News have now reported that the Bundesliga champions are demading a fee in the region of €60 million for the services of Lewandowski.
However, Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has recenlty revealed he sat down with Lewandowski and is convinced he will stay.
"I think we had a very good conversation [with Lewandowski's agent]. It's true, I was there," he told Sky Sport Deutschland.
"Oliver Kahn was there too, we talked, each side explained their position, but we also talked about the details which I won't reveal. But it was a good conversation.
"I'm convinced [Lewandowski will stay]. He's a professional and he has big goals in his career. That's why it's fixable."
