Sadio Mane has seemingly hit a new low in Germany, having now been handed a harsh title.
The Senegal international has endured something of a fall from grace in his first season at Bayern Munich.

With expectations having been high following his arrival from Liverpool in July last year, the forward struggled in his new environment before succumbing to an injury in November, and later cut a visibly frustrated figure as he registered just one goal in the Bundesliga since 2023 began.
A dressing-room punch on teammate Leroy Sane in March made matters worse for the west African, who was handed a heavy fine and suspended for one game as a result.
Mane has been linked with a departure from the Allianz Arena ever since, with the German club reportedly willing to offload him for a similar fee to the €32 million (R651 million) they paid for him almost a year ago.
However, while the forward himself has insisted he wants to stay in Munich and prove he is a world-class player, the 31-year-old has now been voted the "biggest disappointment of the season" in the German top flight by fellow players, according to GiveMeSport.
It is said that more than 250 players took part in the vote, with the 2022 CAF Men's Footballer of the Year claiming 41.7% of the voting.
It is understood that 26.9% of players abstained from the voting, while the next "biggest disappointment" was Mane's teammate Joshua Kimmich, who had 7.5% of the votes.

The same players also voted for their best Bundesliga footballer of the season, with Eintracht Frankfurt and France striker Randal Kolo Muani beating Jude Bellingham (17.5%), who recently left Borussia Dortmund for Real Madrid, to that title with 27.2% of the votes.
