Bayern 'make big call' on Mane & Sane

Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel has now reportedly made a massive decision on both Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane, who infamously clashed a couple months ago.

Mane's dressing-room punch on Sane in April could have a long-lasting effect on his Bayern career, with reports suggesting it may have been a turning point for his future at the club, despite claims that the Senegal international wants to stay on and prove his worth.

Last month, news emerged that the Bundesliga champions were willing to part ways with the Lions of Teranga captain just one season after he joined from Liverpool, with his performances on the pitch having reportedly left a lot to be desired, on top of the discord that resulted from his fight with Sane.

Clubs such as Chelsea, Newcastle United, AS Roma and Juventus have been linked with Mane's signature as a result, while an unnamed Saudi Arabian team is also said to be considering an approach for the 2022 CAF Men's Footballer of the Year.

However, with the German club having now wrapped up their season with the 2022/23 Bundesliga title, it is said that Mane could be joined by Sane on his way out.

According to Bild, Tuchel has put both players up for sale ahead of his first full season in charge of the Bavarians.

Winger Serge Gnabry has also reportedly been put on the market, although his sale is not in any way related to disciplinary issues, with it being said that Bayern will accept the right offers for the trio as an overhaul is set to take place.

It is claimed the former Chelsea boss wants to make wholesale changes to his squad, with his focus said to be to replenish his midfield with the potential arrival of Declan Rice from West Ham United.

According to Bavarian Football Works, the overhaul could also see the likes of Leon Goretzka, Ryan Gravenberch, Lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard leave the Allianz Arena, with the latter heavily linked with a switch to FC Barcelona.

Things at the executive level have also been contentious of late, with the club recently sacking CEO Oliver Kahn and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic shortly after the Bavarians clinched the league title last weekend.
