Real Madrid advanced to the Copa del Rey final after thrashing FC Barcelona 4-0, with Karim Benzema netting a hat-trick in the second leg.
Raphinha returned from a one-match ban and was joined by Alejandro Balde, Franck Kessie and Sergio Busquets as Barca's changes, while Dani Carvajal, Luka Modric and Federico Valverde filled in for Real.
After a quiet opening, the Catalans were close to taking the lead through a powerful header in the box by Raphinha from a ball in by Balde but Los Blancos goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois stood tall.
Both teams struggled to get beyond each other in an extremely tense opening where little penetrations from the Catalans nor Los Blancos showed.
The Blaugrana surrendered their overall lead seconds to halftime after Vinicius Junior played a one-two with Karim Benzema and fired in a low shot which Jules Kounde couldn't clear off the goal-line.
Madrid extended their lead two minutes after halftime when a smart run-up around the area by Luka Modric resulted in a cutback for Benzema to find the bottom-corner.
Los Blancos were in cruise control eight minutes later and bagged a third goal when Benzema beat Marc-Andre Ter Stegen with a spot-kick after Kessie upended Vinicius in the area.
Substitutions were enforced by the host in the hope of turning the tie around midway in the second half and had Eric Garcia on for Marcos Alonso before Raphinha made way for Ferran Torres.
Benzema completed his hat-trick ten minutes from time when Vinicius showed Garcia a clean pair of heels and played in the Frenchman to slot in and secure his second hat-trick in as many games.
Los Blancos enjoyed a quiet closing minutes with the host unable to issue a response and secured an emphatic victory to reach the final of the Copa del Rey.
