Yet another ex-Manchester City star could soon follow in the footsteps of Gabriel Jesus and Aleksandr Zinchenko in joining Mikel Arteta's Arsenal.
In July 2022, the Gunners acquired the services of both Jesus and Zinchenko for a combined fee of €87.2 million (R1.7 billion) from City.
The move has been a positive one for the London outfit, with the duo becoming an instant hit at the Emirates Stadium.

The Brazilian is an established figure in Mikel Arteta's attack, while the Ukrainian also holds a prominent role in the squad as the first-choice left-back and often also being utilised as a midfielder.
With Arteta having worked with the pair during his time as Pep Guardiola's assistant coach at City, the Spaniard is now said to be targeting another former Citizens star, although this time it is a player he has not previously worked with.
According to talkSPORT, Arsenal are interested in signing FC Barcelona forward Ferran Torres.
The Spain international is understood to be among Barca's more sellable assets as they look to raise much-needed funds ahead of a proposed Lionel Messi return to the Camp Nou.
Arteta is believed to be a long-time admirer of the 23-year-old, but a number of other Premier League teams are also thought to be keen on snapping up the former Valencia attacker.
Unai Emery's Aston Villa are said to be a potential destination, especially amid the Midlands club's impending appointment of former Barcelona director of football Mateu Alemany, who left his position in Catalonia earlier this week.

According to Marca, the Catalan giants want €55 million (R1.1 billion) for Torres – the same amount they paid Manchester City for him in January 2022 – and it is understood that fee could rise to €65 million (R1.3 million) depending on variables.
The Spain forward has contributed to nine goals for the Blaugrana so far this season.
