Manchester City are reportedly on the verge of bidding farewell to yet another star after the player reached an agreement with his potential new club.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Citizens defender Joao Cancelo has given Barcelona the green light on the personal terms they have offered him, with the two sides now looking to finalise a transfer fee for the attacking fullback.

Last weekend, the Blaugrana were hit with a bombshell when it emerged that winger Ousmane Dembele wanted to join Paris Saint-Germain.
A disappointed Xavi Hernandez came out earlier this week and made his feelings known about the Frenchman's desire to return to Ligue 1, and also stated that if they lose the 26-year-old, the priority would not be to sign a direct replacement but a right-back instead.
It now appears the LALIGA champions are edging closer to achieving that acquisition, with Cancelo understood to be keen to make his way to Catalonia.
The 28-year-old has reportedly been a target for Xavi since the beginning of the year, but after Barca failed to make an adequate offer to the Premier League champions for the Portugal star's services, he ended up joining Bayern Munich on loan for the rest of the 2022/23 season.
With Cancelo reported not in Pep Guardiola's plans for the 2023/24 campaign, it is believed Xavi will look to use the funds generated from Dembele's sale to sign the attacking fullback from City.

The same report also claims that negotiations are now underway between the English champions and the Spanish giants over a payment structure for the ex-Valencia man.
