With Riyad Mahrez on the verge of leaving Manchester City, another Citizens star has now reportedly informed manager Pep Guardiola he wants to leave too.
The Algeria international is understood to be nearing a move to Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia, with reports suggesting he has already completed a medical ahead of signing a four-year deal worth €35 million (R697 million), plus add-ons.

The winger is now poised to become the English champions' second departure of the window after Ilkay Gundogan, who left as a free agent before joining FC Barcelona last month.
However, another exit may be looming at the Etihad, with one of City's senior squad members having now also reportedly asked to leave.
According to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, defender Kyle Walker has informed manager Guardiola and sporting director Txiki Begiristain that he wants to join Bayern Munich in the coming days.
Talks are said to have gone well since, and it is believed the two teams' chiefs will negotiate a deal for the fullback next week in Tokyo, with the Citizens in Japan for their pre-season tour.
Although it has been mooted, a potential swap deal involving centre-back Benjamin Pavard going the other way is reportedly unlikely, but Walker's move to the Bundesliga is now said to be on the verge of being finalised.
Per German outlet Bild, however, some in the Bayern dressing room are annoyed with the fact that the club has offered the England international, who is 33 years old, a two-year deal, plus the option of a third season.
