According to a Chelsea cult hero, the club might never win a Premier League title again.
Since the Todd Boehly-led consortium, BlueCo, took ownership of the London club in 2022, things have taken a downward turn for the team on the pitch.

Admittedly, this has partly been down to the excessive amount of change that has taken place at Stamford Bridge since, with coaches and players being chopped and changed at a rapid pace under the new American owners.
As such, there has been a jarring decline in results, with the club's 12th-place finish in the 2022/23 campaign being their lowest in Premier League history, while last season they only finished in sixth spot.
With Enzo Maresca now the sixth coach to oversee the club since the BlueCo takeover, former France and Blues defender Frank Leboeuf believes the club may never win the Premier League again, with their last EPL title coming in the 2016/17 season under Antonio Conte.

"Some fans think Chelsea can just start from scratch next season, but it won't really be starting from scratch after spending a billion pounds," Leboeuf told Instant Casino.
"The club can do whatever they want with their money, but as a former player, I think it's kind of a disgrace to see what we are seeing.
"The talent is there in the squad, but you don't have many leaders or players you can rely on, that's the biggest problem Enzo Maresca has.
"It's possible that Chelsea can win a cup, like the FA Cup this season potentially, but never the Premier League. No way.
"If they keep going the way they're going, then they will never win a Premier League title again, they need experience. It just won't work.
"When I arrived at the club, they had been waiting 26 years for a trophy and that only came to an end when experienced winners arrived."

Leboeuf represented Chelsea between 1996 and 2001, and won five trophies during his time with the club.
