After completing medical tests on Friday, the England international has now penned a long-term deal with Arsenal, with a guaranteed portion of his transfer fee expected to be paid in three instalments over 24 months, according to The Guardian.
The playmaker's £105 million price tag sees him climb above Ivory Coast international Nicolas Pepe as the Gunners' most expensive signing ever, although Sky Sports also reports that, in terms of British transfers, Rice's deal could yet be eclipsed by Jude Bellingham's switch to Real Madrid as the 19-year-old's fee could rise up to £115 million (R2.7 billion) with add-ons.
Rice made 204 Premier League appearances for the Hammers and guided them to 2022/23 UEFA Europa Conference League glory as captain, the club's first European trophy since 1965.
