With Mason Greenwood's charges being dropped, the Manchester United team's reaction has reportedly been revealed.
The 21-year-old saw charges against him of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour dropped last week.
The club quickly released a statement revealing that they will be launching their own internal investigation.
Greenwood also broke his silence and said that he "glad" the situation is behind him.
Since United's statement, it has been claimed that the club's staff split over the correct course of action regarding Mason Greenwood's future.
According to The Sun, the squad do not want the forward to return to the Premier League.
A source told the British outlet, "The players are open to him returning to the team but the scrutiny could be massively distracting.
"The dressing room is the happiest it has been for ages and no one wants to rock the boat."
Off the field, Greenwood has added the Manchester club and Nike back to his bio on Instagram despite being suspended by both.
