Man City star 'agrees terms' with Saudi side

Pep Guardiola could be losing one of his biggest stars, who has reportedly agreed terms with a Saudi Pro League team.

Kevin de Bruyne is seemingly headed for an exit at the after attracting interest from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.

Journalist Rudy Galetti has claimed that the Belgian midfielder has agreed personal terms over a move to the middle east ahead of the new season.

Th 33-year-old's contract with the Premier League champions expires in 2025 and there has been no indication if he will extend, which could see City cashing in on his services now.

Teams from Saudi Arabia are trying acquire more high-profile footballers this campaign after managing to get the likes Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Karim Benzema last year.

The report adds that City and Al-Ittihad are in negotiations over a transfer for the midfielder, who is currently on holiday after competing at the 2024 European Championship. 

Al-Ittihad already boast some big names in their squad and are keen to add De Bruyne alongside N'Golo Kante, Karim Benzema and Fabinho.

Before the EUROs, De Bruyne did admit he would have to think an offer from the Saudi Pro League if he received one.

"I still have one year left on my contract, so I have to think about what could happen," he told Het Laatste Nieuws.

"My eldest is now eight years old and knows nothing but England. He also asks how long I will play for City. Once the moment comes, we will have to deal with it in a certain way.

"At my age you have to be open to everything. You're talking about incredible amounts of money in what may be the end of my career. Sometimes you have to think about that.'
