Nigeria international Ola Aina opened the scoring in the 38th minute, while former Manchester United forward Anthony Elanga, sealed the victory, doubling the away side's lead early in the second half.
The result elevated Forest to fourth place on the Premier League table with 31 points from 17 matches, boasting nine wins, four draws, and four losses.
With such form, the Tricky Trees find themselves in the coveted UEFA Champions League spots, a position that few would have predicted at the start of the campaign.
Speaking after the match, Ola Aina, who played a key role in the victory, reflected on Forest's impressive run and shared his thoughts on the team's ambitions for the season.
"You don't know, but it's really good work what we're doing," the Nigerian defender said per the BBC via Pulse Sports.
"We are just focusing on ourselves and taking it game by game."
"But it is good to dream a little bit," he added. "As long as we work hard and just keep our heads and not get too carried away, I'm sure things will be fantastic come May."
