After his side's defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, knocking them out of the Carabao Cup, Pep Guardiola has admitted that Manchester City are in trouble.
The Citizens suffered a 2-1 defeat to the London outfit on Wednesday night, with a late first-half strike by Matheus Nunes unable to spark a comeback after Timo Werner and Pape Matar Sarr put the home side up by two goals.

Before and during the match, the reigning English champions were forced to make changes as their injury troubles worsened.
Manuel Akanji could not take part in the encounter on account of a calf issue that he picked up during the pre-game warm-up.
Ruben Dias was then taken off at half-time, with Guardiola explaining that the Portugal international is "struggling sometimes as well".
"It's been getting more difficult game by game – maybe we will be all back together at some point," the Spanish manager said, per the club's official website.
Savinho was the next to fall victim to a knock as he was taken off the field on a stretcher in the 63rd minute after he appeared to hurt his ankle.
Guardiola said that the side will have to assess the extent of the Brazilian's injury, but the manager is hopeful it is "nothing dangerous", and went on to highlight the injury crisis he is currently forced to deal with.
"We have 13 players, we are in real difficulties," the 53-year-old said.
"The guys that play, they finish most of them with problems and we'll see how they recover.
"I think we are in trouble, because in nine years we've never been in the situation with so many injuries.
"The players make a step forward, more together than ever, and we will try to do this week in this short time of recovery."
2024 Ballon d'Or winner Rodri is currently on the sidelines after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament last month, while Kevin De Bruyne is out with a thigh injury.
Other players on the Sky Blues' injury list include Kyle Walker, Jeremy Doku, Jack Grealish, and Oscar Bobb.
