One of Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal teammates snubbed the Al Nassr star when asked to name his "favourite squad", opting for Paris Saint-Germain duo Lionel Messi and Neymar instead.
Despite spending the vast majority of his career as one of the best footballers on the planet alongside Messi, Ronaldo has remained a divisive figure in the sport, with many of his past and present fellow professionals expressing some sort of dissatisfaction with the way the striker conducts himself.

Following his spell at Juventus, both Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini openly stated that the club was more of a team without the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, while Mason Greenwood was reported to be among those who are not a fan of the Real Madrid legend following his recent second stint at Manchester United.
At the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, there were rumours that some of his compatriots, including then-national team coach Fernando Santos, had grown increasingly frustrated with his antics, with the veteran having been dropped in favour of Goncalo Ramos later in their run in the tournament.
It appears his qualities are not appreciated by everyone close to him, with countryman Joao Felix recently choosing to omit him from a list of his favourite stars.
Asked recently whom he would want in his ideal squad, the on-loan Chelsea star responded: "Neymar, Lionel Messi, Bernardo Silva, and me."

According to reports, Silva also left Ronaldo bemused recently when he made comments about who he thinks should win the 2023 Ballon d'Or award.
The Manchester City playmaker said: "If [Erling] Haaland wins the league and the Champions League, you can put him in the Ballon d'Or discussion, and you can also talk about Vinicius Junior if Madrid wins the Champions League, but in general, it is between Messi and the winner of the champions."

Speculation has it that Ronaldo unfollowed Silva on Instagram as a result, although this remains unconfirmed.
