EPL giants ready to get rid of their manager?

One of the Premier League's biggest clubs is now said to be ready to get rid of their manager.

Tottenham Hotspur began their 2022/23 season on a strong note after Antonio Conte led the team to their best-ever start in the EPL era.

The club's fortunes quickly took a turn, however, as Spurs experienced a serious dip in form, with a number of senior players underperforming, including Son Heung-Min.

While the results have been mixed, Conte has publicly refused to say whether or not he will extend his stay with the London club, with his contract set to expire at the end of this campaign.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Conte will leave the club at the end of this season when his contract expires, with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy having decided they will no longer be offering a new deal to the manager, despite the Italian having led them to UEFA Champions League qualification in his debut season at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

It is claimed the club's hierarchy is tired of the public jibes the head coach has made towards them about signing players, while Conte wants to win trophies but feels the board does not have the same ambition.

Both parties reportedly feel a parting of ways is the best solution.

If Conte does leave the London club, Spurs would be set to hire their fifth manager in only three and a half years.
