Luton Town 1-2 Manchester City
Manchester City returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Luton Town on Sunday.
In what was a complete surprise, the Citizens didn't even feature star striker Erling Haaland in the match day squad following a foot injury and saw Julian Alvarez step in his place, with Rodri Hernandez back from suspension.
The title holders trailed at the break after a ball from Andros Townsend combined with Elijah Adebayo who applied a balanced leap to head in.
City pulled level inside the 62nd minute when Bernardo Silva grabbed hold of a loose ball from Rodri to go clear and launched a first-time shot past Thomas Kaminski.
The comeback followed three minutes later as Alvarez played a pin-point cross into the area for Jack Grealish to take aim and finish off at the back-post.
Everton 2-0 Chelsea
Chelsea slumped to 12th spot following a consecutive defeat after going down 2-0 to the relegation-threatened Everton.
Thiago Silva, Levy Colwill, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson were demoted to the bench by the Blues, who recalled Armand Broja, Reece James, Conor Gallagher and Benoit Badiashile.
After the disappointing loss to Manchester United in midweek, the Blues looked to settle first through a fine effort from Cole Palmer but it was met equally well by Jordan Pickford.
Captain James didn't have a smooth return to the side and couldn't finish the match after sustaining an injury thus had Colwill come off the bench.
Everton also had to make a substitute shortly before halftime after a knock had Ashley Young limped off the park and needed Nathan Patterson to enter from the dugout.
No goals came in the first half, however the Toffees surged ahead early in the resumption as Abdoulaye Doucoure raced onto a loose clearance involving Robert Sanchez to turn home.
Sanchez himself wasn't able to see out the match due to a knock and made way for substitute goalkeeper Dorde Petrovic.
The Toffees made the points safe in the dying minutes as youngster Lewis Dobbin picked up a punch from Petrovic to shape a shot and rattle the net, as it finished 2-0.
Fulham 5-0 West Ham United
Fulham recorded a second straight emphatic 5-0 win in as many weeks as West Ham United bore the brunt this time around at Craven Cottage.
Marco Silva made no changes from the team that dismantled Nottingham Forest in midweek, while the Hammers recalled Pablo Fornals and Aaron Cresswell.
Fulham hit the front past the midway point through Raul Jimenez, who finished off Joao Palhinha's delivery and added a second when Willian turned home Alex Iwobi's ball on the half-hour mark.
The host continued to cruise and made it three five minutes before halftime after Tosin Adarabioyo rose onto a free-kick from Andreas Pereira and nodded home.
West Ham struggled to get going and were put to the sword again in the second half as goals minutes apart from Harry Wilson and Carlos Vinicius draw the contest to a close.
