Xhaka marked off his final appearance with the opener on 11 minutes with a low header from a cross by Jesus.
The Swiss midfielder doubled the lead for Arsenal three minutes later and completed his brace with a strike from a rebound in the box.

Leeds United 1-4 Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur pushed Leeds United to relegation after a resounding 4-1 win thanks to a brace by Harry Kane at Elland Road.
Spurs went ahead within the first two minutes after Kane fired a first-time shot into the top corner after he combined with Heung-Min Son.
The Lilywhites went 2-0 up two minutes from the break after Pedro Porro went through on goal from a ricochet in the box and fired a strike across goal.
Jack Harrison pulled a goal back for Leeds on 67 minutes with a thunderbolt but Kane restored a two-goal cushion for the visitors two minutes later.
