Steven Gerrard's new club Al-Ettifaq have reportedly made a £700 000 (R16.4 million) per week offer for a certain Liverpool.
The Reds legend was appointed as the head coach of the Saudi Arabian club on 3 July and penned a two-year deal after he was dismissed by Aston Villa in October 2022.
Although he was linked with clubs in Turkey and the English Championship, the 43-year-old opted for a new challenge in a different continent, joining fellow Liverpool icon Robbie Fowler in the Saudi Arabia - although the latter now manages the second division team Al-Qadsiah.

Having now settled into his new role, Gerrard is believed to be desperate to make some key reinforcements after his side finished seventh on the Saudi Pro League table in 2022/23.
As such, the Daily Mail now reporting that Al-Ettifaq have made a big offer for England international Jordan Henderson.
The report claims that the 33-year-old would earn around four times his current £190 000 (R4.4 million) a week salary should he accept the proposal, which also includes a hefty signing-on bonus.
It is said that the Reds captain will hold talks with his current boss Jurgen Klopp before he makes a financial decision. The Athletic are also reporting that Henderson is inclined to accept the offer as he is uncertain over his playing time at Anfield next season following the arrival of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton Hove Albion
Liverpool will reportedly not get in the way of the midfielder should he decide on leaving.
