WATCH: Spurs fan kicks Arsenal star!

With tempers flaring at the end of the North London derby following Arsenal's win on Sunday, a Tottenham Hotspur fan was caught on camera kicking one of the Gunners' stars.

Mikel Arteta's side walked away with a 2-0 victory over bitter rivals Spurs courtesy of a Hugo Lloris own goal and a strike from captain Martin Odegaard.

This result ensures that the Gunners have now won 15 out of 18 Premier League games this season, and have an eight-point lead at the top of the table following Manchester City's defeat to Manchester United on Saturday.

However, the derby's post-match events lead to a sour evening for the log leaders.

The entertaining spectacle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ended in a disgraceful manner as Richarlison and Aaron Ramsdale had to be separated while the Englishman was on his way to retrieve his bottle before walking off the pitch.

When Ramsdale reached the poles, a Spurs supporter jumped on to the advertising boarding, from where he was able to kick the goalkeeper in the back.

This reaction seemingly came after the shot-stopper had celebrated in front of the South Stand at the final whistle, reportedly sticking his tongue out, and then pointing at and kissing the Arsenal badge on his shirt.

In the aftermath of the full-time drama, Ramsdale opened up about the incident.

"The Spurs fans were giving me some [stick] throughout the second half," the England international said, per the Guardian.

"I gave them some back and the few people I did do it to was probably well-greeted, sportsmanship-like.

"And then a fan jumped over and gave me a little punch [sic] in the back.

"That's what happened and it's a shame as it's just a game of football at the end of the day.

"Thankfully nothing too drastic happened. It's a sour taste but I'm sure we'll enjoy it when we're back in the dressing room."

It is understood that the incident will be investigated by both the FA and the police, while Spurs have also vowed that the culprit will get a stadium ban and "the strongest possible action".
