With Pep Guardiola's contract at Manchester City set to expire at the end of the season, it is now reported that his decision could be expected sooner rather than later.
Guardiola's future remains uncertain as he approaches the final six months of his tenure.
Despite the growing speculation, the Spaniard has remained coy about the topic, with the hierarchy at City reportedly still in the dark about his situation as well.

However, it might not be long before Guardiola makes up his mind about his time as the Citizens' boss.
According to Relevo, City now hopes that the 53-year-old confirms his decision by Christmas, with the club's management eager to get clarity so they can begin planning for the future.
Since his arrival at the Etihad in July 2016, the former FC Barcelona boss has claimed 15 major titles, including a record-breaking three successive Premier League trophies as well as the club's first UEFA Champions League crown.
Goalkeeper Ederson told the media last month that he was confident the decision-makers at City already have a replacement in mind.
"City is a very well-structured club, well-managed, it has great directors, great CEO, a great coach," Ederson told TNT Sports Brazil.
"I believe the club already has the next manager in mind. The day Pep decides to leave, they will try to follow the same line of work.
"Of course it would [be] a great loss, I have no doubt about that, because you are talking about the best coach in the world. I see a club very well-prepared for post-Guardiola."
Guardiola, however, isn't the only one in his team with a contract running down, as Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Scott Carson will see their deals come to an end in June 2025.
