The Belgium international is not a part of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp's future plans and has been informed he can leave for the right price, following just one season at Anfield.
Benteke did not feature for the Merseysiders during pre-season as Klopp gave new signing Sadio Mane, Daniel Sturridge, Danny Ings, Divock Origi and Roberto Firmino game-time to prepare for the new campaign which kicks off this weekend.
The Black Eagles were reported to have agreed personal terms with the 25-year-old, while Premier League rivals Crystal Palace are believed to have failed with a £25-million bid.
But Eris Kismet insisted there is nothing on the table for his client yet, although he revealed that the former Aston Villa marksman has no shortage of suitors keen to acquire his services.
"We are waiting for any news but at this moment there is nothing concrete," Kismet told The Guardian. "There are several teams interested in signing him so hopefully we can reach a resolution soon."
Benteke managed just nine goals in 29 league appearances for the Reds last term since his £32.5m switch from Villa a year ago.
