Anele Ngcongca linked to Turkey

Ngcongca is likely to leave Belgian side Genk in the next transfer window after a fallout with coach Peter Maes that saw him loaned to French Ligue 1 club Troyes last season.

Their relegation at the end of the campaign ended any hopes that that move would be made permanent, and Ngcongca has stated he will seek to be released from his contract with Genk, with the club unlikely to stand in his way.

He has also been linked with a move to China and was recently the subject of an inquiry by Mamelodi Sundowns, with Pitso Mosimane admitting he would be interested in signing the 28-year-old.

But Ngcongca seems determined to stay overseas and the latest side to be mentioned next to his name by Belgian media is Trabzonspor.

They were first linked with him in 2011 and then reportedly had a four millions euros (R68-million) offer rejected in 2013.

The side is led by former Fenerbahce coach Ersun Yanal and finished 12th in the recently completed Super Lig season.
