Bobby Motaung says Kaizer Chiefs are not looking to sign players at this stage

The former Bafana Bafana midfielder was left out of Cardiff City's pre-season plans and coach Paul Trollope earlier confirmed that Dikgacoi is free to leave the club provided they get the right offer.

"If the right thing comes along [for 'KG'] in terms of a move away then it's something we'll consider," Trollope told the South Wales Echo.

Amakhosi have recently been linked with the possibility on snapping up the 31-year-old defensive midfielder.

However, Motaung has reiterated his stance that Chiefs are content with their squad ahead of the new season and are not looking to re-enter into the transfer market.

Motaung previously alluded that Chiefs were still looking to sign "one or two players", but coach Steve Komphela currently has two defensive midfielders in Willard Katsande and newly signed Enocent Mkhabela, at his disposal.

Dikgacoi left Golden Arrows to join Premier League side Fulham in 2009, and joined Crystal Palace in the Championship in 2011 before eventually moving to City in 2014. His current deal is set to expire at the end of the 2016/17 season.
