European Transfer Wrap

SkySports reports that Eric Bailly has completed his medical ahead of a move to Manchester United, and will join in a £30-million transfer from Villarreal.

Meanwhile, City, who have already landed the signature of Ilkay Gundogan, are back at Borussia Dortmund and closing in on the signature of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

SkySports claims Pep Guardiola is a huge admirer of the Gabon forward and will pay upwards of £40-million to land their man.

Also linked with City is Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte.

And, if The Sun are to be believed, Dortmund could be fighting on all fronts as Arsenal are closing in on playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Armenian has only one year left on his current deal, meaning the German club may be forced to accept the Gunners’ £25-million offer.

In other news, Spurs are on the verge of wrapping up a deal with AZ Alkmaar for striker Vincent Janssen, who scored 27 Eredivisie goals last season.

And Liverpool could return to Southampton to sign Sadio Mane. The Sun reports that The Reds will offer £30-million for the Senegalese forward, who was tipped to join Manchester United last season.
