Toure, 35, parted the Greek giants in December via mutual consent with the club actively seeking to decrease their wage-bill amid financial constraints.
While a return to England has been mooted, reports in Greek media suggest that Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic have approached the veteran midfielder.
His brother Kolo, who formed part of the invincible SPL side in the 2016/17, has since hung up his boots and is currently employed by the club, working as a coach under manager Brendan Rodgers - and Yaya admits the move to Parkhead is enticing.
"Celtic is a great team. Let me speak with Brendan, then we will see," he told Sky Sports.
"You never know, maybe I could end up in Scotland, or England... or maybe France, anyway, I want a choice to maybe play one more year at a high level and after that, I will decide where I will go."
Toure amassed 101 caps for his country over the last 14 years, captaining his country at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
