On Wednesday, the Ligue 1 giants announced that record signing Neymar will be out for the next 10 weeks with an injury, leading to the club switching their priorities in the transfer market.
German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung claims that PSG have approached Ozil over a possible loan move – but he has told them he doesn’t want to leave on a temporary deal.
Despite Arsenal being prepared to let Ozil leave the club and PSG willing to cover his £350k-a-week wages, the playmaker has no intention of leaving.
Now, according to English publication Talksport, PSG have offered £50m (R874m) for Willian, which was swiftly rejected by the Blues, who are holding out for a fee closer to £70m (R1.2b).
The report further states Willian's entourage is currently in Paris waiting for an agreement to be reached between the two clubs.
