Paul Pogba has now reportedly had initial discussions with a new club, which could see him reunite with a controversial former Manchester United star.
Pogba is set to make a return to football a lot sooner than initially expected as the four-year ban for doping handed to him earlier this year has been sliced to just 18 months following an appeal.

Pogba will thus be allowed to resume his career in March 2025, although it is widely believed this will not take place at Juventus.
It is understood the Italian club is in talks with the Frenchman over the termination of his contract by mutual consent, with the player reportedly feeling he needs a fresh start elsewhere.
Pogba has been linked with moves to Saudi Arabia and the United States.
However, it is now being reported that the 31-year-old may not leave Europe, with a Ligue 1 club sounding out his transfer.
According to La Provence, Olympique Marseille have had initial discussions with Pogba's camp, but no official negotiations have taken place yet.
Marseille's sporting director, Medhi Benatia, is said to have contacted Pogba already as he could be available as a free agent.
Les Olympiens recently signed his former Red Devils teammate Mason Greenwood, who played 71 matches alongside Pogba in Manchester.

Pogba has played just 12 games in the past two seasons, while Greenwood, who spent more than a year out of football after being arrested and charge for attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault in January 2022, has revived his career in France, registering five goals and one assist in his first seven matches for Marseille.
