Premier League transfer deadline: Youri Tielemans arrives from AS Monaco, Peter Crouch, 38, returns

Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has signed for Burnley until the end of the season as part of a deal that sees Sam Vokes go the other way.

Crouch, who turned 38 on Wednesday, has made 462 Premier League appearances for six different clubs, scoring 108 goals.

The lanky striker who featured at two FIFA World Cups retired from international duty back in 2010, with a record of 22 goals in 42 caps.

Speaking at a news conference as per the BBC, Clarets boss Sean Dyche said Crouch still "has a hunger to come and make a mark".

He added: "We know he's a good character and he still has a desire. The main thing for me is having motivated people."

Meanwhile, Leicester City have beaten Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham to secure the services of 21-year-old Belgium international Tielemans on a loan deal until the end of the current season.

The move sees Portugal international Adrien Silva head in the opposite direction to AS Monaco also until the end of the campaign.

Tielemans is widely considered as one of Europe's most promising talents, having amassed an astounding 250 first-team appearances for the Ligue 1 side and Anderlecht since making his first-team debut as a 16-year-old.

The technically gifted midfielder featured in five games for The Red Devils at the recent World Cup in Russia as they finished in third-place, taking his overall tally to 19 senior caps.

"I’m really excited to get going. The Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world and when I was young, I always watched Premier League games. I’m really happy to be here and I’m excited to get started," Tielemans told LCTV.

"It’s a big family. Everybody is really kind and really good with me. I think it will be really good here."
