snl24.com/kickoff reported on Thursday that he was training with the club with a view to a move, and Helsingborg have now confirmed he has signed an 18-month deal to return to a club he was first signed by in 2009.
Ralani, who has spent the last two seasons with Danish side Lyngby, did not play in his first spell at Helsingborg, first being loaned out and then sold to Landskrona, where he played under Larsson for two years between 2010 and 2012.
“I know very well already, Larsson said. “He’s a technical, fast, attacking player that I feel we need to have. When the opportunity arose, it was too good to let it pass.
“He’s a player who is very loyal and that puts in the hard work all the time.”
The 28-year-old Ralani, a product of Farouk Khan’s Stars of Africa Academy that also produced Tokelo Rantie and May Mahlangu, is eager to get started with Helsingborg.
“It feels great,” he said. Helsingborg is a big club and it feels good to be a part of it. I trained for the first time in weeks, but it did not feel like it was the first time. All the coaches and players welcomed me.
“I have always followed the Helsingborg because my friend May Mahlangu played here.
“I'm ready to play matches, but it’s up to Henrik,” he said.
