Manchester United advanced to the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup with a 3-1 win over Everton on Friday evening.
Raphael Varane, Diogo Dalot and Tyrell Malacia came back to United's starting line-up from the win over Bournemouth, while Neal Maupay started upfront for the Toffees.
The Red Devils made a dominant start in just four minutes after Antony ran in to the far post of the six-yard area and tapped in from Marcus Rashford's delivery.
Everton very nearly had a response ten minutes apart when Demarai Gray worked space outside the danger area and drilled against the back of the upright before rolling into goalkeeper David De Gea.
De Gea didn't cover himself in glory a minute later as he saw a ball from the right roll through his legs, which allowed Conor Coady to poke over the line.
The Red Devils regained the lead seven minutes from halftime as Coady went from hero to villain by guiding Rashford's low delivery into his own net.
Everton were close to a leveller midway through the second half from Maupay's low shot, but it was cleared off the line before Christian Eriksen stung the gloves of Pickford at the other end.
The Toffees did have the ball in the net after Dominic Calvert-Lewin side-footed in Seamus Coleman's low delivery from out wide, but it was ruled out for offside following a pitch-side review.
United were able to see off the tie in the dying minutes as Alejandro Garnacho bundled over in the area and won a penalty, which Rashford tucked away to continue his scoring run.
In the end, the Red Devils secured the win and moved onto round four of the Emirates FA Cup with the Toffees ousted.
