Peterborough United 0-2 Manchester City

Manchester City sealed their passage to the FA Cup quarter-finals after defeating Championship side Peterborough United 2-0 on Tuesday night.

The Championship outfit managed to show a good account of themselves in the first half and went into the break all square at 0-0.

However, City's class took over in the second half when Riyad Mahrez opened the scoring with his 17th goal across all competitions this season.

Jack Grealish doubled the lead for the English champions seven minutes after Mahrez's goal, which proved to be enough to put City's name in the hat for the last eight draw.

Crystal Palace 2-1 Stoke City

Crystal Palace kept their FA Cup dream alive after defeating Stoke City 2-1 at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles went in front courtesy of Cheikhou Kouyate's opening goal eight minutes after the halftime break.

Josh Tymon equalised for Stoke in the 58th minute, but Jaïro Riedewald sealed Palace's spot in the quarter-finals with the winning goal in the 82nd minute.

Middlesbrough 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur were sent crashing out of the FA Cup after falling to a 1-0 loss at Middlesbrough.

Spurs manager Antonio Conte went with a strong line-up that include Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min and Dusan Kulusevski

The championship, who already eliminated Manchester United, to Spurs all the way to extra-time before Josh Coburn got the winning goal in the 107th minute.
