Chelsea advanced to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a 3-2 win over Championship side Luton Town on Wednesday night.

Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, Saul Niguez and Jorginho were called up as part of nine changes from the Carabao Cup final loss to Liverpool.

The hosts took a surprising lead after just two minutes when Reece Burke headed home Luke Berry's corner, much to the delight of the home fans.

However, the home fans were sent into a frenzy once again after Luton restored their lead in the 40th minute as Harry Cornick beat the offside trap to go clear and slot past Kepa.

After a slow start to the second half, the Blues drew level in the 67th minute as Ruben Loftus-Cheek picked out Werner, who controlled well before slotting home.

The Blues took the lead for the first time in the 78th minute when Werner turned provider to pick out Lukaku for the close-range finish, which proved to be the winning goal.
