With some big departures expected at the Camp Nou in the coming weeks, FC Barcelona's first player exit ahead of the 2023/24 campaign has now seemingly been confirmed.
With the Blaugrana's money problems well-documented, the club is believed to be making some progress after LaLiga reportedly approved their two-year financial viability plan.

It is understood that they can now make advances in the transfer market, although a few players still need to be sold and their wage budget reduced further.
The Blaugrana have already got two huge salaries off their books, that of Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, with the latter also said to have written off wages still owed to him by the team.
The side has now pocketed a further €1.5 million (R30 million) from the permanent sale of Francisco Trincao to Sporting CP, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The winger joined the Portuguese outfit on loan at the beginning of the 2022/23 campaign, a deal that included an obligation to buy worth €7 million (R140 million) altogether.
Barca had already received a €3 million (R60 million) loan fee for Trincao's services last year, with the remaining sum to be paid out at a later stage.
It is reported that the Catalan giants also retain a 50% share in the winger's future sale, thus meaning they will receive half of whatever the 23-year-old is sold for by Sporting in the future.
The Portugal attacker, once described by some as "the next Cristiano Ronaldo", joined the Spanish outfit from Braga in 2020, but failed to adjust to life in LaLiga before being shipped out on loan to Wolverhampton Wanderers a year later.

His return of 13 goals and four assists in 52 games for Sporting has now reportedly secured him a five-year deal with the Lisbon club, with an €80 million (R1.6 billion) release clause having also been included in his deal.
