France advanced to a second successive FIFA World Cup final with a 2-0 win over Morocco on Wednesday night.
Les Blues made two changes in Ibrahima Konate and Youssouf Fofana, while Morocco were without the suspended Walid Cheddira and a late change before kick-off saw Nayef Aguerd drop out for Achraf Dari.
The French provided a settled start in no less than five minutes when Theo Hernandez helped a blocked attempt by Kylian Mbappe past Yassine Bounou as the Atlas Lions struggled to clear their lines.
Azz-Eddine Ounahi very nearly though pulled the Atlas Lions back on level terms five minutes later through a curling strike after being played into space, but found Hugo Lloris equal to the task.

Les Blues looked for a second goal after a few minutes and came very close when a teasing strike from Olivier Giroud bounced off the post and left Morocco off the hook.
Morocco were then forced to a change around the midway mark of the first half, as Romain Saiss picked up a knock and he was repalced by Selim Amallah in the middle of the park.
There were chances aplenty for France in the closing stages, with Mbappe on the end of a ball by Aurelien Tchouameni, but he missed before Giroud did likewise on the follow-up.
There was more activity from the bench of the Atlas Lions before the second half, where Noussair Mazraoui suffered an injury and was removed for Yahia Attiyat Allah.
It was an encouraging start to the second stanza for the North Africans and pressure play from Youssef En-Nesyri forced Konate as well as Raphael Varane to hold their lines and clear.
France didn't lose structure and went two goals up with 12 minutes to go when Mbappe evaded a number of challengers and cutback for Randal Kolo Muani to tap in easily at the far post, just seconds after coming on for Ousmane Dembele.
The Atlas Lions almost found a consolation goal in the dying seconds through a strike by Ounahi, but Jules Kounde cleared off the line and saw Les Blues advance to the final where they will face Argentina on Sunday.
