2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifying Wrap

Portugal claimed a come-from-behind 3-1 victory over Luxembourg as Cristiano Ronaldo broke his four-match goal drought in Group A.

Gerson Rodrigues gave the hosts a shock lead, but the Selecao rallied back through goals from Diogo Jota, Joao Palhinha and Ronaldo, who broke his longest run without a goal in a Portugal shirt.

Fernando Santos' side move to the summit of the group, while Luxembourg remain in third.

Croatia cruised to a 3-0 win over Malta in Group H.

Ivan Perisic, Luka Modric and Josip Brekalo got on the scoresheet for the Croats.

Zlatko Dalic's side move into top spot in the group, while Malta remain winless at the bottom.

Netherlands thumped Gibraltar 7-0 to claim their second successive win in Group G.

Steven Berguis, Luuk de Jong, Memphis Depay (2), Georginio Wijnaldum, Donyell Malen and Donny van de Beek did the damage for the Oranje.

The Dutch move into second position while Gibraltar are without a point.

Wales claimed a 1-0 win over Czech Republic in Group E as both sides finished the game with ten men.

First, Patrik Shik was given his marching orders shortly after half-time and then Connor Roberts was sent off in the 77th minute before Daniel James won it with a dramatic 81st-minute winner.

The Welsh get their first win of the qualifying campaign and move to third, while the Czechs remain in second.

Roberto Martinez's Belgium maintained their final start in the qualifiers after completing a 8-0 rout of Belarus in Group E.

Michy Batshuayi, Hans Vanaken (2), Leandro Trossard (2), Jeremy Doku, Denis Praet and Christian Benteke netted for the Belgians.

Roberto Martinez's side are still at the top, while Belarus are in fourth.
