Cristiano Ronaldo netted a 10th international hat-trick to help Portugal cruise to a 5-0 victory over Luxembourg at the Estadio Algarve in Group A.

Ronaldo slotted in two penalties in the opening 20 minutes, with Bruno Fernandes chipping in with a goal in-between.

Joao Palhinha got in on the act in the second while late finish from Ronaldo put the match to bed.

Poland beat Albania to second spot in Group I thanks to a late 1-0 win over at the Arena Kombetare in the city of Tirana.

The winner happened late in the second half and it came courtesy of Karol Swiderski, as a goalless draw seemed on the cards.
