Netherlands became the latest European nation to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup with a 2-0 win over Norway in Group G on Tuesday.
The Dutch, who rued squandering a two-goal lead against Montenegro on Saturday, were bailed out in the last six minutes by Steven Bergwijn and Memphis Depay.
Norway, who missed Erling Braut Haaland and following Saturday's goalless draw against Latvia, end their campaign in third spot missing out on the playoffs.
Finland 0-2 France
France's World Cup qualification journey finished on a high following a 2-0 victory over Finland in Group D at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.
The result officially dented Finland's hopes of getting a playoff ticket, as Real Madrid's Karim Benzema bagged the front and Kylian Mbappe adding a second to continue his rich vein of form.
Finland missed out on second spot by a single point on the back of a big win at Bosnia Herzegovina, whilst Les Bleus secured qualification in style against Kazakhstan on Saturday.
Wales 1-1 Belgium
Wales cemented second spot and a ticket in the play-offs after securing a 1-1 draw against the winners of Group E Belgium.
The Welsh dropped Gareth Bale from the starting line-up, while the Red Devils preferred Divock Origi and Charles De Ketelaere alongside Kevin De Bruyne in attack.
Wales were behind within the opening 20 minutes through a finish from De Bruyne, but a quick reply followed courtesy of Keith Moore to leave matters level.
Bosnia Herzegovina 0-2 Ukraine
Ukraine marched into the play-off phase from Group D as two second-half goals ensured a 2-0 victory over Bosnia Herzegovina.
Manchester City midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko netted the opener at the end of the first half before Artem Dovbyk got their second goal to wrap up matters and a play-off ticket.
