Brazil star: We have 10 dances prepared in case we score 10 goals

A Brazil star has revealed that they have 10 different dancing goal celebrations prepared just in case they score that many times in a match at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The five-time world champions, who have entered the tournament as one of the favourites, will face Serbia in their opening clash on Thursday night.

It has been two decades since the Selecao last won the title, and manager Tite has taken an attack-heavy side to Qatar, with nine forwards being called up to the squad.

With goals seemingly on the agenda, FC Barcelona star Raphinha has now admitted that the side is ready to dance when they face their upcoming opponents.

"To tell you the truth, we already have dances prepared for up to the 10th goal," the 25-year-old said, per ESPN.

"We have some 10 dances prepared for each match, one for the first, one for the second, one for the third...

"If we score more than 10, then we'll have to start innovating."

The topic of dancing during goal celebrations has been a contentious one in recent months after Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior was racially abused by the president of Spanish football agents, Pedro Bravo, who claimed that the winger should "stop playing the monkey" and "respect" opponents by not dancing after scoring.

Vinicius, however, vowed he would not stop doing so, and has continued to dance with teammate Rodrygo after scoring, despite the criticism he has received in Spain.
