Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, Leroy Sane, Ilkay Gundogan, Leon Goretzka, Kai Havertz and a debut for 17-year-old and surprise inclusion Youssouf Moukoko set out Die Mannscaft's eleven.
After a long goalless spell, the winner came ten minutes from time when Werder Bremen's Fullkrug finished off an assist by Havertz.

The winner came eight minutes before the end of the match and it was TSG Hoffenheim attacking player Andrej Kramaric that settled the contest and gave the Vatreni victory.
Croatia, who were runners-up to France four years ago in Russia, have been placed in Group F in their World Cup campaign and get their tournament underway against Morocco next Tuesday.
As for Saudi Arabia, they are back at the tournament having featured in Russia as well and open their campaign against Argentina in Group C – a match that will also be played on Tuesday.

Ivory Coast 4-0 Burundi
Ivory Coast thumped a hapless Burundi 4-0 in an International friendly played at the Stade Marrakech in Morocco.
The Elephants hit the breakthrough in no less than the opening ten minutes courtesy of Jean-Philippe Krasso before Max-Alain Gradel found a second on the cusp of halftime.
Burundi didn't manage to contain the Elephants and left Ibrahim Sangare as well as Arsenal's Nicolas Pepe, who is on-loan at OGC Nice in Ligue 1 to put the clash beyond doubt.
Next up for the Elephants is the Stallions of Burkina Faso on Saturday at the same venue in Morocco, with Burundi not in action.
