In an announcement made on Thursday evening, the Senegalese board announced that the 30-year-old will not be part of their squad in the Middle East.
Mane picked up a leg injury while playing for Bayern Munich last week, and has not been able to recover in time.

The Lions of Teranga will be worse off without Mane's presence on the field, with the former Liverpool star having played a pivotal role in their qualification for the tournament.
Mane was also hugely influential as Senegal claimed the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year, efforts that won him the competition's best player prize.
