With Lionel Messi said to have made a certain request to Paris Saint-Germain following his 2022 FIFA World Cup win, the French outfit is reportedly reluctant to agree to the plea due to concerns over fellow finalist Kylian Mbappe.
Having led Argentina to their third World Cup crown last Sunday, Messi is believed to have asked PSG if he can present the 18-karat trophy at the Parc des Princes in front of the club's fans.

The 35-year-old's second campaign in Paris so far has been a big improvement on his underwhelming debut season in Ligue 1, which saw him miss out on a Ballon d'Or nomination for the first time since 2005.
Prior to the tournament in Qatar, the seven-time Golden Ball winner was in fine form, having registered 12 goals and 14 assists in 19 games across all competitions for PSG this season. It seems he is now settled in France, and is set to sign a contract extension with the side, according to reports.
However, in the interim, the former FC Barcelona talisman has asked to parade his World Cup trophy at the Parc des Princes in the coming days, but the PSG hierarchy are hesitant about allowing him to do so as it could provoke a negative reaction from Mbappe's supporters, per Goal.
The 24-year-old France talisman has also been the target of some serious mockery from some Argentine supporters following the final on Sunday, during which he netted a hat-trick for Les Bleus.
He was left visibly devastated on the night, and Albiceleste goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez later added salt to the wound when he was caught on film mocking Mbappe with a "minute of silence" chant during his team's celebrations in the dressing room.
The Aston Villa shot-stopper was also seen holding a doll with the 2018 World Cup winner's face on it, while standing next to Messi, during the South Americans' trophy parade in Buenos Aires on Tuesday, something he has been criticised heavily for since.
It has since been suggested that these incidents may have caused tension between Messi and Mbappe.
