AC Milan have confirmed the signing of a Chelsea defender for a fee of £25 million (R490 million).
Fikayo Tomori spent the second half of last season on loan with Milan, making 22 appearances and starring in both legs of their Europa League round of 16 tie against Manchester United, in which they narrowly suffered a 2-1 defeat on aggregate.

The Rossoneri have now confirmed that they have signed the 23-year-old on a permanent deal, saying in an official statement earlier today: "AC Milan is delighted to announce the exercising of the option for the permanent transfer of Oluwafikayomi Oluwadamilola Tomori from Chelsea.
"The English defender, who made 22 appearances and scored one goal over the last season, will continue to play with the Club until 30 June 2025."
Tomori fell out favour under Frank Lampard at Chelsea, and while there were rumours that new Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel wanted to see what the defender was capable of in the upcoming pre-season, it seems the defender has decided he would rather take his career to Italy.
