FC Barcelona have confirmed that one of their stars has left the club to join a Premier League side.
The Blaugrana have announced that Leeds United have completed the signing of left-back Junior Firpo for £12.8 million (R252 million) on a four-year deal, with the player set to make the switch after a period of quarantine and a medical examination. The Catalan giants will retain 20% of any future sale of the player.

The defender signed for Barcelona in 2019 after impressing at Real Betis, where the 24-year-old earned himself a call-up to the Spain U21 side that won the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
The left-back ended up making 41 appearances for the Blaugrana over the past two seasons.
Firpo becomes Leeds' third signing of the transfer window, and will wear the No. 3 shirt during his time at Elland Road.
"I am really happy, I wanted to be here and I always wanted to play in the Premier League," he told LUTV.
"This summer for me, there was many clubs interested. But when [Leeds director of football] Victor Orta spoke with me and showed me the project, I said 'Wow, this is interesting, they really want me'.
"In this moment, I said OK I want to go to Leeds. The people said to me that a full Elland Road is incredible. I want to see this!
"I only want to say I will give my all here, any time that I play I will give 100% and I saw lots of messages from fans saying 'Marching On Together'."
