Official: Manchester United unveil Jadon Sancho

Manchester United have officially unveiled new signing Jadon Sancho, who has joined the club from Borussia Dortmund.

With the England star's move to the Premier League giants on a five-year-deal being confirmed earlier this month following a year-long transfer saga, he has now been unveiled in the Red Devils' new home kit.

The fee paid to Dortmund for his services is understood to be £72 million (R1.4 billion), with the 21-year-old contracted at Old Trafford until 2026, subject to an international clearance.

Sancho, a former Manchester City youth product, scored 50 goals and assisted a further 64 strikes during his four-year spell with BVB.

Here's what the new signing had to say about joining the Red Devils, and his time at Dortmund.

"I'll always be grateful to Dortmund for giving me the opportunity to play first-team football, although I always knew that I would return to England one day," he said, according to United's official website.

"The chance to join Manchester United is a dream come true and I just cannot wait to perform in the Premier League.

"This is a young and exciting squad and I know, together, we can develop into something special to bring the success that the fans deserve. I am looking forward to working with the manager and his coaching team to further develop my game."
