FC Barcelona news: 10 players Ronald Koeman could sign for Barca

FC Barcelona look set to undergo an overhaul like never seen before following Ronald Koeman's appointment as new manager, and at least 10 players have already been linked with the club.

Last week, Koeman was appointed as Barcelona's new manager following the sacking of Quique Setien, and signed a two-year contract with the club after vacating his role as the Netherlands' boss.

Unsurprisingly, a number of Dutch players have since been linked with a move to the Camp Nou, including Olympique Lyon forward Memphis Depay. According to OK Diairo, Koeman wants to make Depay his first signing and could use Luis Suarez or Ivan Rakitic as part of a swap deal.

The Uruguayan's name has also been thrown around as a potential sweetener in Koeman's pursuit of Ajax Amsterdam midfielder Donny van de Beek, while there is also reported interest in Liverpool star Georginio Wijnaldum, whose contract at Anfield expires at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.

Barca could also raid struggling Valencia as they are reported to be interested in striker Rodrigo, who previously played for Real Madrid's reserve teams, as well as left-back Jose Gaya, who is considered a potential long-term replacement for Jordi Alba.

Manchester City defender Eric Garcia could also return to the club where he received his footballing education, while Napoli's Fabian Ruiz and little-known Angers fullback Rayan Ait-Nouri are latest players to be linked with a move to the Catalan giants.

Reports linking Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez with a move to Spain have also persisted despite Barcelona's change in management, while Brazil superstar Neymar will undoubtedly be linked with a return to his former stomping ground as the transfer window unfolds.
