Karim Benzema has further cemented his place in Real Madrid's history books after becoming only the fifth player to score 250 goals for the club.
The former France international achieved the milestone on Sunday when he netted in the 95th minute of Los Blancos' 2-0 LaLiga win over Levante, bring up the tally in his 517th appearance across all competitions for the club.

In doing so, he became only the fifth player to score 250 goals in the record 34-time champions' entire history, after former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, Raul Gonzalez, Alfredo Di Stefano and Carlos Alonso (also known as "Santillana").
Benzema joined the Madrid-based giants from Olympique Lyon in 2009, and has played a key role in one of the Spanish club's most illustrious eras, winning three LaLiga crowns, four UEFA Champions League titles and no fewer than 11 other major honours.
